Our Story

The union of art & technology.

We grew up in an artistic, tech-filled home, where both visual design and programming became an early fascination. As middle-schoolers in the late '90s, the Internet was the perfect playground. We built websites for friends and family, including our Dad’s medical practice—and even got paid for some.

Inspiration to build a better web.

After our college years, it became clear that websites were intimidating for many organizations, and many looked abysmal for visitors. How were these sites doing any good for people?

We picked up books by designers Hillman Curtis and Milton Glaser, and following our self-employed father's example, set out to build a company.
